Contender Asia

Singapore's beautiful Indoor Stadium, the pride of the Lion City, will be the venue for the final of The Contender Asia.

Speculation has been rife over the last couple of weeks as to where the final would be held - Las Vegas, Macau or the Lion City itself. After Singapore was awarded the rights for the 2010 Youth Olympics, negotiations were made to hold the final in Singapore to further promote Singapore as one of the worlds most outstanding sporting and tourist countries. Therefore the final of the Contender Asia must and will be held in Singapore itself.

Asia is in Contender fever - the show has become a hit in 23 Asian countries where every Wednesday night millions and millions of people watch the show to follow the dreams of these 16 outstanding athletes. After every show the audience in each country vote to decide who will be given the chance of a rematch and who will be back for the final.

All this is leading to an unforgettable finale involving US$250,000 prize money and deciding who will be the Ultimate Contender and WMC World Champion.
